Clifford A. Quigg, 90, died Monday morning in the Carmen Nursing Home. Mr. Quigg made his home near Darlington most of his life. He was an area farmer and a State Farm Insurance agent for over 30 years. Mr. Quigg attended schools of Franklin Township and Purdue University. He was a member of the Gravely Run Friends Church and the K of P Lodge of New Market. Born Oct. 10, 1885 in Montgomery County, he was the son of Francis and Tacy Johnson Quigg. He married Edith Lafollette on March 20, 1912, near Shannondale. She preceded him in death on Sept. 23, 1956. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Weliever of Darlington; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Hymer of Roachdale and Mrs. Josie Sorrels of Crawfordsville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Burkhart Funeral Home at Darlington. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery at Darlington. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.--waw
